In my last post, I put in a little plea for Santa to maybe heat and insulate my garage so I could get some work done during the winter. While he doesn’t install (who knew?) he does deliver. In this case, in the form of a gift certificate and some hardware. So, early the next day, I was off to the big box store to stock up. The first thing on the list was some insulation for the garage door. Then (because he was really nice), I also picked up a couple of 8′ florescent lights and the stuff to wire them up. By the end of the day, it looked like a completely new garage. By the way, just insulating the garage door (I still haven’t got all the drafts blocked) lets me bring up the temperature to the mid 50′s; even with the outside temperature in the mid 20′s. I am running out of excuses!
