After a few requests for information on some of the construction details of my home built recumbent bike, I decided to build a page or two covering it’s construction.  What I was looking for was a good long range touring bike – What I created… well, that’s yet to be determined.

General impressions, now that the bike is ridable… This is a L O N G bike! I know that should have been obvious, but it still came as a bit of a shock. Not the physical dimensions so much as the apparent “size of the thing”. The ride is smooth and very predictable. Low bottom bracket and upright seat make it very easy to jump on and ride.
